Alex Bartels, left, Nichole Gersbeck, Lacey Moore, and the rest of the Tonganoxie Cheerleaders performed during the Tonganoxie High School Homecoming parade Friday. During the parade festivities, athletes from fall sports spoke to the crowd. Football senior Jamie Everett said: "Tonight we play the Prairie View Buffalos. And tonight we beat the Prairie View Buffalos." Everett's prediction came true: THS won, 14-7, later Friday evening.
