Kansas: State board refutes Common Core privacy worries

What? The debate is not over whether or not they are collecting data on our children, but rather whether or not the government has access to it. Who cares what they are doing with the data? They should not have data on our children!

My son came home from his first day at school at Seaman High School in Topeka Thursday and expressed his concerns that his English teacher asked him if he goes to church, where, and how old his parents are. In another class he was forced to sign and fill out a questionnaire with question such as how he feels about gay marriage and abortion. He had never been asked question like this before this school year because he came home and asked me if it was okay for them to ask questions like that. This is the first day of school and its already alarming. I can't imagine what is to come. Common Core needs to go!!!!!
