In the vernacular of Public Enemy so that it's understandable: True dat.

Only1: Seriously...your mindset is part of the problem in America. Accountability? Doesn't matter, obviously. If my kid was listening to R. Kelly, Eminem, Ludicrous, or any number of hip hop artists, I'd have a serious heart to heart. The music one chooses to listen to (or use as an emblem for who they are, like the class of 2011) speaks to the type of person they are.

The motto of basically, have fun do what you want, also speaks volume that these adults (they are no longer kids, thank you very much) are not prepared as a whole for the reality of a tough economy, staring at the largest probable college debt of any generation, cost of goods soaring, cost of living skyrocketing....that is reality. My statement is really spoken out of "how did we as society fail on these kids?" They aren't ready to face the challenges ahead, based on what I'm reading.

BTW: There's nothing here relating to a school bond issue...I honestly didn't think you wrote unless there was money extraction involved.

Class song = R. Kelly? The dude who was convicted of statutory rape? Awesome.

Class Motto translation = "Do what you want and have fun." This class, like each before it, has much to learn about the real world. Welcome to reality, kids.

You're wrong on one point: Both Democrats and Republicans already have ruined this country. The entitlements and multiple wars (still ongoing, still more in the hopper) are killing this country. We've already started writing the first chapters of a new book, The Rise and Fall of the United States of America, and will soon go the way of Rome circa 400 AD.
