Tonganoxie High School offering new ACT prep program

How about just making academics a priority? This wouldn't be necessary with some rigor in the curriculum.

U.S. 24-40 intersection talks continue to heat up

I get it. Let's sacrifice safety and lives for what you want. The region is growing, therefore, traffic is more plentiful. In turn, it is our responsibility to adjust accordingly for the safety of our kids, not gripe. As much as we'd all like to go back to 1985, we can't. Who said anything about a WalMart or fast food? By the way, when you live 15 miles from the city, eventuallly, your town is going to grow. Want a true small town? I'd suggest moving a little further to the west.

THS boys' season ends with semifinal loss to Piper

Agreed. What's even more sad is the jealousy and selfishness that is displayed by parents.

Clinger: An offer of support inspired by Lady Gaga

It is remarkable to me that anyone could be ignorant enough to type what you typed and believe it.

Tonganoxie City Council hears U.S. 24-40 traffic concerns

Is this going to be yet another issue where we, as a city just sit by idely and are reactive instead of proactive? It's amazing that making our city safer comes with resistance. We can't just sit around and keep hoping the community doesn't grow and ignore that it has. There is quite a bit of traffic and it's simply not safe. Let's get it together and do the right thing for safety, not for our pockets.

THS can't find offense in loss to Kaws

To the players: Keep fighting. To the parents and fans who do nothing but criticize and make the experience in the stands a negative one: Please shut up and stop embarrassing your kids. You should be ashamed of yourselves.. Been watching you for several years and it really is getting tiring listening to you. These kids deserve better and so do the other fans sitting around you. I hope it is no longer tolerated at games because it should not be. 1 vote to remove these people. That incident Friday was disgusting.
