Michael Snodgrass, of Norton, hurls a knife at a wooden target Friday at the 2008 Original High Plains Regional Rendezvous, north of McLouth. Several hundred men, women and children from across the Midwest gathered last week at the pre-1840s encampment, where participants dressed in period clothing and portrayed life during the American fur trade period.
