AT 254 AM CDT...THE EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT REPORTED FLOODING OCCURRING
ACROSS THE WARNED AREA. DOPPLER RADAR WAS ESTIMATING 3 TO 4 INCHES
OF RAINFALL HAS OCCURRED WITH THESE STORMS WITH ADDITIONAL HEAVY
RAINFALL MOVING INTO THE AREA.
RUNOFF FROM THIS EXCESSIVE RAINFALL WILL CAUSE FLASH FLOODING TO
OCCUR. LOCATIONS IN THE WARNING INCLUDE...AIRPORT DRIVE...ALBA...
BAXTER SPRINGS...CARL JUNCTION...CARONA...CARTERVILLE...CARTHAGE...
CHEROKEE...COLUMBUS...DIAMOND...DUENWEG...DUQUESNE...FRONTENAC...

EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT REPORTED FLOODING AND CLOSED ROADS WITHIN
CHEROKEE COUNTY KANSAS. HIGHWAY K7 NORTH OF COLUMBUS WAS CLOSED DUE
TO 3 FEET OF WATER FLOWING OVER THE HIGHWAY AND US 69 SOUTH OF
COLUMBUS WAS ALSO CLOSED DUE TO FLOODING.
