...FLASH FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT THROUGH SATURDAY MORNING...
THE FLASH FLOOD WATCH CONTINUES FOR
* A PORTION OF SOUTHEAST KANSAS...INCLUDING THE FOLLOWING
AREAS...CHAUTAUQUA...LABETTE AND MONTGOMERY
* THROUGH SATURDAY MORNING.
* ANOTHER ROUND OF SHOWERS AND ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS...MAY
PRODUCE HEAVY RAINFALL OVER SOUTHEAST KANSAS UNTIL LATE THIS
EVENING. AN ADDITIONAL HALF AN INCH OF RAINFALL IS POSSIBLE. BUT
FOR AREAS THAT HAVE ALREADY RECEIVED 4 TO 8 INCHES THIS ADDITIONAL
RAINFALL MAY LEAD TO WATER LEVELS STAYING HIGH...OR RISING
AGAIN. THE MAJORITY OF THE HEAVY RAIN WILL OCCUR EARLY THIS
EVENING...WITH LIGHTER AMOUNTS FROM LATE THIS EVENING INTO
SATURDAY MORNING.
* CREEKS AND STREAMS WILL REMAIN HIGH...SOME COUNTY ROADS WILL
REMAIN IMPASSIBLE DUE TO HIGH WATER THROUGH THIS EVENING.
