HASKELL COUNTIES UNTIL 815 PM CDT...
At 712 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking several strong
thunderstorms across Finney, Gray, Hodgeman, and Ford counties. The
strongest storms will produce wind gusts to near 55 mph and nickel
size hail. A strong outflow boundary near Dodge City will produce
wind gusts of 40 to 50 mph as it moves south over the next hour.
Areas of blowing dust are expected.
Locations impacted include...
Dodge City, Garden City, Cimarron, Kinsley, Montezuma, Jetmore,
Spearville, Pierceville, Ingalls, Copeland, Burdett, Ford, Hanston,
Offerle, Ensign, Fort Dodge, Wright, Rozel, Charleston and Howell.
A severe thunderstorm watch remains in effect until 200 AM CDT for
south central and southwestern Kansas.
