.WINTER WEATHER WILL CONTINUE IMPACT THE AREA THROUGH THE REMAINDER
OF THE MORNING HOURS ACROSS NORTHEAST AND CENTRAL MISSOURI. LIGHT
SNOW...SLEET...AND PATCHY FREEZING DRIZZLE WILL GRADUALLY DIMINISH
AS THE DAY CONTINUES. THIS WINTRY WEATHER WILL BRING AN ADDITIONAL
LIGHT GLAZING OF ICE...PERHAPS A TENTH OF AN INCH OF SLEET...AND UP
TO AN INCH OF SNOW SOUTHEAST OF A ST JOSEPH TO LANCASTER LINE.
...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 PM CST THIS
EVENING...
A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SNOW AND SLEET REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL
6 PM CST THIS EVENING.
* LIGHT SNOW AND SLEET WILL CONTINUE TO TAPER OFF FROM NORTHWEST TO
SOUTHEAST ACROSS PORTIONS OF NORTHEAST AND CENTRAL MISSOURI THIS
MORNING.
* AN ADDITIONAL INCH OF SNOW AND SLEET IS POSSIBLE THROUGH THE
MORNING HOURS. AREAS SOUTH OF INTERSTATE 70 COULD SEE A HUNDREDTH
OF AN INCH OF ICE ACCUMULATION AND PERHAPS ANOTHER TENTH OF AN INCH
OF SLEET.
* SNOW AND SLEET ACCUMULATIONS WILL MAKE TRAVEL DIFFICULT THIS
MORNING.
