KANSAS WILL SEE ACCUMULATING SNOW...THE HIGHEST AMOUNTS WILL FOCUS
FROM INTERSTATE 80 SOUTHWARD...AND ESPECIALLY ACROSS NORTH CENTRAL
KANSAS. ALTHOUGH SNOW MAY BEGIN LATE TONIGHT IN WESTERN PARTS OF
THE AREA...THE HEAVIEST SNOW WILL OVERSPREAD THE ENTIRE AREA
DURING THE DAY SATURDAY AND INTO SATURDAY EVENING...BEFORE
GRADUALLY TAPERING OFF FROM WEST TO EAST LATE SATURDAY NIGHT INTO
SUNDAY MORNING. ALTHOUGH OFFICIAL BLIZZARD CONDITIONS ARE NOT
ANTICIPATED...SUSTAINED WINDS OF 15 TO 25 MPH WITH GUSTS TO AROUND
30 MPH WILL CREATE CONSIDERABLE BLOWING AND DRIFTING SNOW...AND
RESULTANT VISIBILITY RESTRICTIONS...ESPECIALLY SATURDAY AFTERNOON
AND EVENING.
