- Special Weather Statement issued February 07 at 7:26AM CST by NWS
- Effective: 7:26 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 7, 2018
- Expires: 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 7, 2018
Through 9 AM MST (10 AM CST), fog will continue roughly along and
west of a line from Tribune to Goodland, Saint Francis to Wray.
Most locations will experience 3 to 5 miles visibilities. However,
isolated pockets of less than a half mile have developed.
Motorists need to be prepared for visibilities to drop from
unlimited to less than a half mile very quickly.
Law enforcement has reported that black ice has formed on the
roads. This combined with the snow left on area roads will make
for very slick conditions and motorists should slow down and allow
more time to travel to their destination.
