...DENSE FOG TO PERSIST OVER THE SOUTHEAST MISSOURI FOOTHILLS
THROUGH LATE MORNING...
...DENSE FOG ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 11 AM CST THIS MORNING...
THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN PADUCAH HAS ISSUED A DENSE FOG
ADVISORY...WHICH IS IN EFFECT UNTIL 11 AM CST THIS MORNING. THIS
DENSE FOG ADVISORY COVERS BOLLINGER...WAYNE...CARTER...RIPLEY AND
BUTLER COUNTIES IN SOUTHEAST MISSOURI.
* VISIBILITY NEAR ONE QUARTER OF A MILE OR LESS WILL CONTINUE
THROUGH AT LEAST 11 AM CST OVER THE SOUTHEAST MISSOURI
FOOTHILLS. VISIBILITIES SHOULD IMPROVE EAST OF THE POPLAR BLUFF
TO MARBLE HILL LINE EARLIER IN THE MORNING.
* IMPACTS: TRAVELERS GOING NORTH OR WEST FROM A POPLAR BLUFF AND
MARBLE HILL MISSOURI LINE WILL SEE SIGNIFICANT REDUCTION IN
VISIBILITIES. THIS WILL MAKE FOR HAZARDOUS DRIVING ON THOSE
ROADWAYS WHERE THERE ARE ABRUPT CHANGES IN DIRECTION OR NORMALLY
LIMITED VIEW OF THE ROAD AHEAD. EXTREME CAUTION SHOULD BE
EXERCISED IN THESE AREAS.
