REGION WEDNESDAY EVENING. THIS RAIN WILL RETURN IN WAVES OVERNIGHT
AND DURING THE DAY ON THURSDAY. THE FOCUS OF THE HEAVY RAIN HAS
MOVED FURTHER SOUTH AND EAST THAN EARLIER FORECASTS...SO
ADJUSTMENTS TO THE FLASH FLOOD WATCH WERE MADE TO REFLECT THIS
CHANGE.

* RAINFALL TOTALS THROUGH THURSDAY AFTERNOON ARE FORECAST TO
RANGE FROM 1 TO 4 INCHES FROM NORTHWEST TO SOUTHEAST ACROSS
SOUTHEAST MISSOURI AND SOUTHERN ILLINOIS. TOTALS OF 2 TO 5
INCHES ARE FORECAST ACROSS FAR WESTERN KENTUCKY.
