* Until 200 AM CDT Sunday
* At 759 PM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated
thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Two to
three inches of rain have already fallen. Flash flooding is
expected to begin shortly.
* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Kansas City, Independence, Lee`s Summit, Shawnee, Blue Springs,
Leavenworth, Raytown, Liberty, Gladstone, Grain Valley, Lansing,
Excelsior Springs, Smithville, Kearney, Oak Grove, Bonner Springs,
Richmond, De Soto, Parkville and Odessa.
Additional rainfall amounts of two to four inches are possible in
the warned area.
