...FLASH FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT THROUGH WEDNESDAY
MORNING...
The Flash Flood Watch continues for
* Portions of southern Illinois, southwest Indiana, western
Kentucky, and southeast Missouri, including the following
areas, in southern Illinois, Alexander, Edwards, Franklin,
Gallatin, Hamilton, Hardin, Jackson, Jefferson, Johnson,
Massac, Perry IL, Pope, Pulaski, Saline, Union, Wabash, Wayne
IL, White, and Williamson. In southwest Indiana, Gibson, Pike,
Posey, Spencer, Vanderburgh, and Warrick. In western Kentucky,
Ballard, Caldwell, Calloway, Carlisle, Christian, Crittenden,
Daviess, Fulton, Graves, Henderson, Hickman, Hopkins,
Livingston, Lyon, Marshall, McCracken, McLean, Muhlenberg,
Todd, Trigg, Union KY, and Webster. In southeast Missouri,
Cape Girardeau, Mississippi, Perry MO, and Scott.
* Through Wednesday morning
* Total rainfall amounts from an inch and a half, upwards to
around three inches, are expected. Locally higher amounts are
likely.
* These rains will be coming from the remnants of Alberto, and
as such, may include localized heavy rainfall amounts that may
lead to flash flooding.
