...FAST MOVING STORM SYSTEM TO BRING A PERIOD OF ACCUMULATING SNOW
TO THE NORTHERN HALF OF THE MID SOUTH...
.A DYNAMIC AND FAST MOVING UPPER LEVEL DISTURBANCE WILL MOVE
ACROSS THE MID SOUTH TONIGHT. THE ATMOSPHERE IN ADVANCE OF THIS
SYSTEM WILL BECOME UNSTABLE WITHIN THE FAVORABLE SNOW GROWTH ZONE
ACROSS THE NORTHERN HALF OF THE MID SOUTH. THIS WILL SUPPORT A
BAND OF MODERATE SNOW THAT WILL MOVE QUICKLY ACROSS THE ADVISORY
AREA AND PRODUCE LIGHT SNOW ACCUMULATIONS.

WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SNOW...WHICH IS IN EFFECT UNTIL 3 AM CST
WEDNESDAY.
* SNOW/SLEET/ICE ACCUMULATIONS...SNOW ACCUMULATIONS BETWEEN 1 AND
2 INCHES ARE EXPECTED WITH THE GREATEST ACCUMULATIONS NEAR THE
ARKANSAS AND MISSOURI BORDER.
* TIMING...THIS EVENING THROUGH EARLY WEDNESDAY MORNING.
* IMPACTS...TRAVEL WILL CONTINUE TO BE HAZARDOUS THROUGH WEDNESDAY
MORNING AS SNOW FALLS ACROSS AREAS WHERE ROADWAYS ARE ALREADY
