NORTHWESTERN MADISON COUNTIES IN SOUTHEASTERN MISSOURI...EASTERN
WASHINGTON...EAST CENTRAL FRANKLIN...SOUTHWESTERN ST. LOUIS COUNTIES
IN EAST CENTRAL MISSOURI AND ST. FRANCOIS COUNTIES IN SOUTHEASTERN
MISSOURI UNTIL 1145 PM CDT...
At 1055 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Pacific to near Hillsboro to near Mineral
Point to 6 miles west of Irondale to near Oates. Movement was east at
30 mph.
Winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with these storms.
Locations impacted include...
Wildwood, Arnold, Farmington, Cahokia, Festus, Eureka, Waterloo,
Columbia, Sunset Hills, Pacific, Bonne Terre, De Soto, Pevely,
Desloge, Crystal City, Dupo, Fenton, Herculaneum, Hillsboro and
Byrnes Mill.
This includes the following highways...
Interstate 44 in Missouri between exits 257 and 269.
Interstate 55 in Missouri between exits 154 and 191.
This also includes Washington State Park, St. Joe State Park, St.
Francois State Park, Route 66 State Park, Johnsons Shut-Ins State
Park, Hawn State Park, Fort Davidson Historic Site, Elephant Rocks
State Park, Mastodon Historic Site, Taum Sauk Mountain State Park,
Sandy Creek Covered Bridge Historic Site, Missouri Mines Historic
Site, and Gov. Dunklin`s Grave Historic Site.
