A WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL NOON CST MONDAY.
* LIGHT FREEZING RAIN WILL SPREAD SOUTHEAST ACROSS THE AREA
TODAY. THE FREEZING RAIN WILL BEGIN TO TRANSITION OVER TO
SLEET AND SNOW LATE THIS EVENING. SNOW WILL EVENTUALLY TAPER
OFF AROUND MIDDAY MONDAY.
* HEAVY ACCUMULATIONS OF ICE...SLEET...AND SNOW ARE EXPECTED.
SNOW AND SLEET ACCUMULATIONS OF FOUR TO SIX INCHES ARE
EXPECTED TO FALL ON TOP OF A QUARTER TO A HALF INCH OF ICE IN
AREAS ALONG AND NORTH OF THE OHIO RIVER. ICE ACCUMULATIONS
FROM A HALF TO THREE QUARTERS OF AN INCH ARE POSSIBLE SOUTH OF
THE OHIO RIVER. SNOW ACCUMULATIONS SOUTH OF THE OHIO RIVER
WILL RANGE FROM TWO TO FOUR INCHES. SOME THUNDER WILL ALSO BE
POSSIBLE TODAY...WHICH COULD LEAD TO SOME ISOLATED HIGHER
ACCUMULATIONS.
* IMPACTS...TRAVEL CONDITIONS WILL BECOME PROGRESSIVELY MORE
TREACHEROUS THROUGH THE DAY TODAY AND ESPECIALLY TONIGHT. TREE
DAMAGE AND POWER OUTAGES WILL BE LIKELY.
