...ICE AND SNOW ACCUMULATIONS EXPECTED LATE TONIGHT THROUGH MONDAY
MORNING OVER NORTHERN MISSOURI ...
.AREAS OF FREEZING DRIZZLE AND LIGHT FREEZING RAIN WILL OVERSPREAD
THE AREA BEGINNING SHORTLY AFTER MIDNIGHT AND CONTINUE INTO MONDAY
MORNING. THE FREEZING RAIN WILL MIX WITH SLEET AND SNOW TOWARDS
SUNRISE ALONG AND JUST SOUTH OF THE MISSOURI AND IOWA BORDER WITH
AROUND AN INCH OF SNOW ACCUMULATING BEFORE THE PRECIPITATION ENDS.
TEMPERATURES WILL INITIALLY BE IN THE MIDDLE AND UPPER 20S AND WILL
ALLOW ICE TO QUICKLY ACCUMULATE ON EXPOSED SURFACES. ONE TO TWO
TENTHS OF AN INCH OF ICE ARE POSSIBLE. TEMPERATURES WILL GRADUALLY
RISE ABOVE FREEZING FROM SOUTHWEST TO NORTHEAST MONDAY MORNING.

THE FREEZING RAIN ADVISORY IS NOW IN EFFECT FROM MIDNIGHT TONIGHT
TO NOON CST MONDAY.
* LOCATION...NORTH CENTRAL AND NORTHEAST MISSOURI.
* TIMING...FREEZING RAIN WILL DEVELOP AFTER MIDNIGHT TONIGHT AND
CONTINUE INTO MONDAY MORNING. THERE MAY BE A BRIEF PERIOD AFTER
SUNRISE WHERE SLEET AND SNOW MAY MIX IN WITH THE FREEZING RAIN
BEFORE THE PRECIPITATION ENDS LATE MONDAY MORNING. TEMPERATURES
WILL RISE ABOVE FREEZING MID TO LATE MONDAY MORNING.
* ICE/SNOW ACCUMULATIONS...BETWEEN ONE AND TWO TENTHS OF AN INCH OF
ICE WITH MINOR SNOW AND SLEET ACCUMULATIONS.
* IMPACTS...ICE ACCUMULATIONS WILL CREATE VERY HAZARDOUS TRAVEL
CONDITIONS PARTICULARLY ON UNTREATED SURFACES. WINDS GUSTING TO 20
MPH MONDAY MORNING MAY CAUSE MINOR DAMAGE TO ICE- COATED TREES...
PARTICULARLY SMALL BRANCHES. HEAVY DAMAGE TO TREES AND POWER LINES
IS NOT EXPECTED.
* OTHER IMPACTS...FREEZING RAIN MAY MIX WITH SLEET OR SNOW AT
TIMES MONDAY MORNING. ANY SLEET AND SNOW ACCUMULATION SHOULD
BE A FEW TENTHS OF AN INCH OR LESS.
