Waters is in critical condition at the Kansas University Medical Center, Kansas City, Kan. He has not regained consciousness.

Waters and his brother, Chad, had been visiting at another brother’s home in Basehor. Chad was driving ahead of Mike when Mike fell asleep and his GMC Jimmy ran off the road. The vehicle rolled, and Mike was thrown from the vehicle. He suffered severe head injuries, multiple broken ribs and severely bruised lungs.

An account has been set up at Community National Bank in Tonganoxie to help with the family’s bills and with Christmas for his four small children. Waters is the son of Shirley and Arden Waters, Tonganoxie.
