Makenzie Lynn Sample

Mike and Ranae Sample, Jarbalo, announce the birth of a daughter, Makenzie Lynn Sample, on Nov. 7, 1999, at Providence Medical Center, Kansas City, Kan. She weighed 8 pounds, 8 ounces and was 20 inches long. Makenzie was welcomed home by a sister, Makayla, 5, and a brother, Chase, 3.

Maternal grandparents are Donnie and Rhonda Phillips, Leavenworth. Paternal grandparents are Ronne and Sharron Sample, Jarbalo.

Maternal great-grandparents are Jerry Oroke, Tonganoxie, and Margaret Phillips, Leavenworth.

Logan Stone Schubert

Troy and Michelle Schubert, Tonganoxie, announce the birth of a son, Logan Stone Schubert, on Nov. 15 at Shawnee Mission Medical Center.

He joins a sister, Lindsey.

Logan weighed 7 pounds, 6 ounces and was 19 inches long.

His maternal grandparents are Ed and Elaine Standish, Tonganoxie. Maternal great-grandparents are Al and Florine Beebe and great-grandmother Geraldine Standish, all of Kansas City, Kan. Paternal grandparents are Rodney and Jane Schubert, Bonner Springs, and the late Linda Schubert. Paternal great-grandparents are Lloyd and Marion Schubert, Bonner Springs, and great-grandfather is Heimie Markowitz, Tonganoxie. A great-grandmother, Doris Markowitz, lives in Illinois.

Logan also has one great-great-grandfather, Olie Anderson.

Madison Raine Smith

Philip Smith and Rhiannon Mooberry, Winchester, announce the birth of a daughter, Madison Raine Smith, on Dec. 5, 1999, at Cushing Hospital, Leavenworth.

Madison weighed 8 pounds, 14 ounces and measured 20 3/4 inches.

Maternal grandparents are Ron and Tammy Mooberry of Winchester. Paternal grandparents are Lisa Smith of Tonganoxie and Phil Smith of Basehor. Maternal great grandparents are Thamar Barnett of Jarbalo and Don and Carole Mooberry of Warsaw, Mo. Paternal great grandparents are Geraldine Mori of Kansas City, Mo., and Fredia and Lawrence Smith of Basehor. Paternal great-great grandmother is Cleta Hankins of Arkansas.
