Tonganoxie police
A pickup truck that was stolen last week from City Ford, 325 U.S. Highway 24-40 has been recovered in Kansas City, according to Officer John Putthoff. The theft occurred between 5 p.m. Thursday and 8:45 a.m. Friday at the dealership.
A 1989 Buick driven by Denise Theno, 40, Tonganoxie, struck a deer about 8:10 p.m. Dec. 17 just east of Laming Road on U.S. Highway 24-40. Theno was not injured.
A 1997 Dodge driven by Neil J. England, 21, Tonganoxie, collided about noon Dec. 18 with a 1998 Dodge driven by Thomas A. Andrus, Tonganoxie, at Seventh and Pleasant streets. No one was injured.
