Velma L. Chamberlain, 92, Stonewall, Ill., (formerly of Linwood), died Tuesday, Sept. 28, 1999, in Stonewall, Okla.

Funeral services were Saturday, Oct. 2, at the First Baptist Church, Linwood, with the Rev. Charles Clinkerbeard officating. Burial was in Mt. Sidney Cemetery, Linwood. Memorials are suggested to the church.

Mrs. Chamberlain was born Jan. 15, 1907, in Andover, Mo., the daughter of Frank and Iva (Hensley) Wishon. She was a homemaker. Two husbands, Chesley Ward and George Chamberlain, preceded her in death.

She is survived by two sons, Chesley Stewart Ward, Tupelo, Okla., and Billie A. Ward, Tonganoxie; two daughters, Evelyn Loraine (Ward) Williams, Overland Park, and Betty Lou (Ward) Murphy, Honolulu; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
