Elisabeth Mathena Franklin
Pam S. and Norman D. Franklin, Tonganoxie, announce the birth of a daughter, Elisabeth Mathena Franklin on Feb. 11, 2000, at Providence Health Center in Kansas City, Kan.

Elisabeth has a sister, Jennifer Renna Franklin, 19.

Maria Page Bingham
Martin and Linda Bingham announce the birth and homecoming of their daughter, Maria Page Bingham. Maria was born 12 weeks premature on Nov. 8, 1999, at Overland Park Regional Medical Center.

At birth, Maria weighed two pounds, eight ounces and was 15 inches long. She was admitted to the Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at that time.

On Dec. 31, Maria was released to join her parents and older brothers, Clayton and Justin, at home in Tonganoxie.

She weighed four pounds, four ounces, and was 17 inches long.

Her maternal grandmother is Beverly A. Clark, Tonganoxie, and great-grandmother is Josephine L. Leavitt, Tonganoxie.

Her paternal grandparents are Samuel and Mary Bingham, Nortonville.

Martha Hodge, Atchison, also is a great-grandmother.

Clair Nadine Menhusen
Edith Pauline and Michael Joseph Menhusen, Edwardsville, announce the birth of a daughter, Clair Nadine Menhusen, on Jan. 27, 2000, at Shawnee Mission Medical Center.

Grandparents are Venita M. Richards, Edwardsville; and Gary and Patricia Menhusen, Tonganoxie.

Leola Peterson, Salina, and Marie Montgomery, Tonganoxie, are great-grandmothers.
