Folsom was a passenger in a semi trailer truck hauling 36,000 pounds of live turkeys. On a sharp curve, the load shifted and the truck overturned, landing on the passenger’s side in the ditch.

Since his release from the hospital, Folsom has been staying at the home of his brother, Ike Folsom, Stover.

Folsom is the son of Carl and Beverly Folsom, who live in Tonganoxie.
