Newspaper price hike planned
Effective Friday, the subscription price for The Mirror will increase by $5 a year.
In addition, beginning with the Feb. 6 edition of the newspaper, the single-copy price will increase to 75 cents.
“I hope our readers will understand that we are doing everything we can to continue to deliver a high-quality newspaper to them, and we appreciate their support,” said Caroline Trowbridge, editor and publisher.
The annual subscription rate for Leavenworth, Jefferson, Johnson, Wyandotte and Douglas counties will be $30 a year. For other Kansas counties, the rate will be $45, and elsewhere in the continental United States, the rate will be $50.
