Obituary: Connie L. Hedgepath

Services for Connie L. Hedgepath, 63, McLouth, were Sunday, Dec. 14, 2003, at the McLouth Church of the Nazarene in McLouth. Burial was in the McLouth Cemetery.

Ms. Hedgepath died Wednesday, Dec. 10, 2003, at her home. She was born Oct. 29, 1940, at LaCygne, the daughter of Arthur L. and Mary E. Smith LaMar. She had lived in McLouth for many years.

She worked as an auto assembler for the Fairfax General Motors Plant in Kansas City, Kan.

She retired on Oct. 1, 2003, after 31 years of service. She was a member of the United Auto Workers Union Local 31 in Kansas City. She was a 1958 graduate of McLouth High School.

She married Melvin Hedgepath in 1959, and they divorced in 1969.

Survivors include her mother, Mary E. LaMar, of the home in McLouth; a daughter, Glenda Mills, McLouth; two sisters, Feona Bolinger, McLouth, and Betty Ann Shade, Atchison; nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Her longtime companion, Don Budenosky, preceded her in death.
