Youth compete in Hersey regional meet
Local youth competed May 22 in the Hersey’s Youth Track Meet at Beatty Field in Tonganoxie.
Participants were split up into three divisions — a 9- and 10-year-old division, an 11- and 12-year-old division and a 13- and 14-year-old division. The top two finishes from the Tonganoxie meet qualified for the state meet July 4-5 in Emporia.
