The A-team opened the season 1-1, while the B-team is off to a 1-3 start.
The Warriors won their first A-team game with a 31-17 win against Clark before losing a 34-29 contest to Eudora.

In B-team action, the Warriors lost a tough game to Clark, 16-13. They then lost to Eudora, 26-16, and Linwood, 40-4, before defeating Lexington Trails, 12-6.

The teams are back in action Thursday with seventh-grade games at Monticello in Shawnee. Games begin at 4 p.m. and 5 p.m.

The eighth-grade A- and B-teams will take on Monticello in Tonganoxie at the same times. The teams then will play Tuesday with seventh-grade at home against Linwood and the eighth-grade teams at Linwood.
