TJHS grapplers remain perfect on young season
The Tonganoxie Junior High Warrior Wrestling team still is undefeated on the season after defeating two Leavenworth teams last week. Tonganoxie now is 6-0 in dual competition.
The Warrior wrestling team defeated Leavenworth Patton and Leavenworth Warren middle schools on Nov. 17 and stayed unblemished on the season.
Against Patton the Warriors won 31 matches, 30 by pin, and lost nine matches for a 185-45 team win. Against Warren, the Warriors won 10 matches, all by pin, and lost three matches for a 60-18 team win. Wrestling results were:

The Warrior wrestlers traveled Saturday to Lansing for a tournament and then Monday to Linwood for a double dual.
Tonganoxie has an extended break after that action. TJHS returns to the mats Dec. 10 with a 4 p.m. dual at Pembroke in Kansas City, Mo.
TJHS concludes the season with a Dec. 13 tournament at Clark.
