Obituary: Monte Reed Dolan

Graveside services for Monte Reed Dolan, 41, Lawrence, were Monday, August 9, 2004, at Memorial Park Cemetery in Lawrence.

Mr. Dolan died Aug. 3, 2004, at his home. He was born Sept. 16, 1962, in Lawrence, the son of Thomas R. and Delores A. (Shook) Dolan.

Mr. Dolan graduated from Lawrence High School in 1980. He worked as a welder-fabricator and had worked at Sunflower Army Ammunition Plant and in Olathe for several years. He played the guitar in several bands in Lawrence.

Survivors include his mother; a brother, Thomas R. Dolan Jr., Lawrence; and a sister, Deborah K. Skeet, Tonganoxie.

The family suggests donations to Douglas County Hospice Care or Douglas County Visiting Nurses Assn., sent in care of Rumsey-Yost Funeral Home, 601 Indiana, Lawrence 66044.
