Obituary: Stella M. Vollintine

Services were Friday, Dec. 3, 2004, for former Tonganoxie resident Stella M. Vollintine, 95, Boerne, Texas, at the Tonganoxie Christian Church. Burial was in Hubbell Hill Cemetery, Tonganoxie.

Mrs. Vollintine died Sunday, Nov. 28, 2004. She was born in Yates Center, the daughter of John and Clara Strouse. She was a member of Tonganoxie Christian Church. On May 7, 1932, she married William B. Vollintine at Fort Scott. She was preceded in death by her husband, her sister, Thelma Schultz, and a granddaughter, Janice Marie Becker.

Survivors include two daughters, Mary Belle Jackson, Goddard, and Willena Becker, Boerne, Texas; nine grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
