Mrs. Porter died Thursday, Dec. 9, 2004, at Providence Place, Kansas City, Kan. She was born Feb. 4, 1932, in Osceola, Mo., the daughter of Ralph and Edna (Carry) Culbertson.

She was a homemaker and a member of Holy Angels Catholic Church. Mrs. Porter was a graduate of Osceola High School and attended Drury Business College, Springfield, Mo.

On May 19, 1951, she married Dave Porter (owner of Porter Oil and Gas Co. Inc.). He died on July 13, 1999.

Survivors include three daughters, Vickie Lynn Schubert, Camdenton, Mo., and Sandra Ann Meredith and Patricia Louise Gillett, both of Basehor; a sister, Lula Mae Baxter, Clinton, Mo.; and three grandsons.
