Obituary: Zelma P. Frey

Services for Zelma P. Frey, 89, Bonner Springs, were Friday, Jan. 23, 2004, at Holy Angels Catholic Church, 15438 Leavenworth Road.

Burial was in Mount Calvary Cemetery in Lansing.

Mrs. Frey died Jan. 20, 2004, at her home. She was born June 15, 1914, in Leavenworth, the daughter of Edward and Pearl Ruby (Graham) Hartfelder.

She married Ernest Herman Frey on Oct. 21, 1939. He died March 29, 1971.

Mrs. Frey was a member of Holy Angels Catholic Church and a past member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Bonner Springs.

She was a member of the Sacred Heart Altar Society and Eagles Auxiliary No. 3191.

Survivors include two sons, Robert A. Frey, Bloomfield Hills, Mich., and Richard E. Frey, Lenexa; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

The family suggests memorial contributions to Holy Angels Catholic Church, Sacred Heart Catholic Church or the Alzheimers Association, which may be sent in care of Barnett-Larkin-Brown Funeral Home, Sixth and Olive, Leavenworth, 66048.
