Tonganoxie woman sentenced to 42 months in prison

By Caroline Trowbridge - | Nov 12, 2004

A Tonganoxie woman was ordered Friday to 3 1/2 years in prison for her part in bilking her family and friends out of about $350,000.

At the conclusion of an hourlong court hearing in Leavenworth County District Court Friday afternoon, Judge Frederick Stewart sentenced Carla Jean Meyer Senger. Senger immediately was taken into custody.

Senger pled guilty in September to three felonies: selling securities as an unregistered broker-dealer, selling unregistered securities and securities fraud.
