Chieftains to play at the K
Tonganoxie basball players will be digging into the same batter’s box that players such as Mike Sweeney and Joe Randa have settled into in recent years.
Tonganoxie and Basehor-Linwood will play April 19 at Kauffman Stadium, the home of the Kansas City Royals.
The Royals and Indians will play at 1:10 p.m. that day, while the Chieftains and Bobcats will play after that game.
Basehor-Linwood and Tonganoxie players will be selling tickets for the game as part of the agreement with the Royals.
