Starcher one away from finals
THS senior Ross Starcher moved one step closer to a title match Friday when he wone his second match Friday at the state wrestling championships at Kansas Coliseum in Wichita.
Wrestling in the 171-pound division, Starcher won his quarterfinal match and improved to 37-4 on the season.
Starcher defeated Council Grove’s Mike Brakenhoff and will compete in the 4A semifinals Friday evening.
