Obituary: Gerald J. VanDruff

Graveside services for Gerald J. VanDruff, 76, Oskaloosa, will be at 11 a.m. today, March 9, 2005, at McLouth Cemetery in McLouth.

Mr. VanDruff died Saturday, March 5, 2005, at Tonganoxie Nursing Center. He was born July 11, 1928, in McLouth, the son of Grover and Lila (Shrader) VanDruff.

He was a pipe fitter for Standard Oil of California. He lived there for 40 years. He was a veteran of the Army Air Corps and served from 1947 to 1949.

Survivors include three brothers, Marlin (Murph) VanDruff, McLouth, David VanDruff, Basehor, and Larry VanDruff, Tonganoxie; and a sister, Esther McAfee, Caney.
