Obituary: Ed Lee Ashworth

Graveside services for Ed Lee Ashworth, 58, Lawrence, will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 22, 2005, at McLouth Cemetery, McLouth.

Mr. Ashworth died Monday, Sept. 19, 2005, at his home. He was born March 15, 1947.

He worked as a heavy-equipment operator for McLouth Excavating.

Survivors include his wife, Linda Ashworth, of the home; a daughter, Jeri Ashworth; a son, Randy Ashworth; a sister, Sharon Farmer, Virginia; his mother, Helen Ashworth, Tonganoxie; and two grandchildren.

The family suggests memorial contributions to the National Wild Turkey Federation, which may be sent in care of Barnett Funeral Home, P.O. Box 416, Oskaloosa, 66066.
