Obituary: Gilbert Jesse Sutton

Services for Gilbert Jesse Sutton, 72, Tonganoxie, will be 10 a.m. Friday, April 7, 2006, at Quisenberry Funeral Home, Tonganoxie. Burial will be in Shawnee Mission Memory Gardens.

Mr. Sutton died Monday, April 3, 2006, at Lawrence Memorial Hospital. He was born Nov. 25, 1933, in Urbana, Mo., the son of Howard and Sylvia (Ricker) Sutton.

He was a construction worker.
Survivors include his wife, Wanda (Dunkin) Sutton, Tonganoxie; three sons, Gilbert Keith Sutton, Bates City, Mo., Don Letzig, Tonganoxie, and Joe Letzig, Bates City, Mo.; two daughters, Glenda Sutton, Blythe, Calif., and Barbara Wolfgeher, Independence, Mo.; three brothers, Wesley Sutton, Tracy, Calif., Chester Sutton and Johnny Sutton, both of Blythe, Calif.; two sisters, Ethel Dunkin, Cole Camp, Mo., and Myrtie Entwistle, Blythe, Calif.; 12 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
