Obituary: David Wayne Kitterman

A memorial service for David Wayne Kitterman, 77, McLouth, was Sunday, Jan. 8, 2006, at Quisenberry Funeral Home, Tonganoxie. Private inurnment was planned.

Mr. Kitterman died last Wednesday, Jan. 4, 2006, at his home. He was born July 18, 1928, in Monett, Mo., the son of R.J. and Cora (Stephens) Kitterman.

He served in the U.S. Air Force. He worked as a printer and he farmed.

Mr. Kitterman was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Tonganoxie; the Eagles Club, Aerie 309, Lawrence; and the Graphic Printers Union 235, Kansas City, Mo.

He was married in 1952 to Elizabeth Witt in Kansas City, Kan. She survives, of the home.

Other survivors include two sons, David L. Kitterman, Albuquerque, N.M., and Lawrence E. Kitterman, McLouth; two daughters, Patricia Ann Durkes, McLouth, and Janice E. Gonzalez, Livonia, Minn.; a brother, Glen Kitterman, Odessa, Mo.; a sister, Gladys Moody, Galveston, Texas; eight grandchildren; and two great-granddaughters.

The family suggests memorial contributions to Sacred Heart Church building fund, sent in care of Quisenberry Funeral Home, P.O. Box 993, Tonganoxie 66086.
