Obituary: Roger Dean Wyer

Services for Roger Dean Wyer, 49, Jarbalo, were Tuesday, Jan. 24, 2006, at Victory Baptist Church, Tonganoxie. Burial was in the Eudora Cemetery, Eudora.

Mr. Wyer died Saturday, Jan. 21, 2006, at his home. He was born July 22, 1956, in Lawrence, the son of Robert and Gladys (Robertson) Wyer.

He was a 1974 graduate of Eudora High School. He had lived in and was employed for many years in Kansas City, Mo., by Butler Manufacturing and Sprint as a computer operator. Most recently, he worked at Oliver Hall at Kansas University. His brother, Ronald Wyer, died in 1968.

Survivors include his mother, Gladys Shelton, Jarbalo; his father and stepmother, Robert Patricia Wyer, Belgrade, Mont.; and a sister, Roberta Guffey, Belgrade, Mont.
