Obituary: Robert E. Deaver

No services are planned for Robert E. Deaver, 79, who died Friday, June 30, 2006, at Hickory Pointe Care Center in Oskaloosa.

Mr. Deaver was born Oct. 24, 1926, in Columbus, Ind., the son of A. Dale and Nellie J. Audy Deaver.

He married the former Ona Mae Robertson in 1949 and she survives of the home. They were former residents of Indianapolis, Overland Park and Tonganoxie.

Other survivors include two sons, Rex A. Deaver, Overland Park, and Brian K. Deaver, Lee’s Summit, Mo., and many grandchildren.

Following cremation, a private memorial service and interment will be held at Leavenworth National Cemetery. Heartland Cremation and Burial Society, Kansas City, Mo., handled arrangements.
