Hazardous spill forces short evacuation at Tonganoxie Elementary
Tonganoxie Elementary School was briefly evacuated this morning after an electronic monitor was broken and it was feared toxic materials were released.
After speaking with the equipment manufacturer, officials said they determined it was non-hazardous and students were allowed to return to class.
