Obituary: Edna Morgan

Graveside services for Edna E. Morgan, 94, Tonganoxie, were Monday, May 15, 2006, at Quincy Cemetery in Quincy.

Mrs. Morgan died Thursday, May 11, 2006, at Tonganoxie Nursing Center. She was born June 20, 1911, in Quincy, the daughter of Pike and Edith (Schwint) Ditty.

She worked as a cook and custodian from 1968 to 1977 at Kansas University in Lawrence.

On June 18, 1936, she married William Lee Morgan. She was preceded in death by her husband and two sons, Donald and Larry.

Survivors include a son, Duane L. Morgan, Paola; a daughter, Rita K. Lovell, Tonganoxie; two sisters, Bev Ditty and Mary Robison, both of Virgil, Kan.; and one granddaughter.

Quisenberry Funeral Home, Tonganoxie, handled arrangements.
