Mclouth happenings
Ryan Saxton is McLouth High School’s Student of the Month for January. Ryan, a senior, is the son of Richard and Theresa Saxton. He plans to attend Kansas University with a split-major in pre-med and pre-dentistry and a minor in either mechanics or electricity. This award is sponsored by the McLouth Kiwanis, honoring students who have exhibited outstanding citizenship and scholarship.
United Methodist Women will meet for their noon luncheon on Friday. Gerre King will be hostess, and Ruth Randgaard will be lesson leader.
A Community Scrapbooking Fellowship will be held at 6 p.m. Jan. 25 in the basement of McLouth First Baptist Church. Beginners and seasoned scrapbookers are welcome. Bring photos and share ideas. Celebrate Recovery meets at 6:30 p.m. Thursdays in the basement of McLouth Church of the Nazarene. This Christ-centered, 12-step recovery program is for everyone struggling — with hurts, hang-ups, addictive behaviors, and recovering from drugs, alcohol, gambling, eating disorders.
