Chieftain boys take third at Tonganoxie Invitational
Erasing a 10-polnt halftime deficit, the Tonganoxie High boys basketball team rallied and defeated Immaculata, 54-47, in the third-place game Saturday.
Tonganoxie outscored immaculata, 19-8, in the fourth quarter on the Chieftains way to victory. THS improved to 8-3 with the win.
The Chieftain girls are slated to play Lansing in the tournament championship in that bracket at 5:45 p.m. Saturday.
