Jim Murry, Jean Andra, Verna Cutright, Michelle and Rosemary Murry played host to a cookout June 10 so everyone could visit with Mike and Sue Murry of Beckley, W.Va. Guests were: Pat, Jeanne and Marianne Murry and friend, Curtis, of Olathe; Alison and Travis Brown and two sons of Olathe; Tom and Cindy Murry of Tonganoxie; Tim and Diane of rural Leavenworth; Morgan Miller, Matt and the twins of McLouth; Rachel Quisenberry and Anthony of Eudora; Lizzy Murry and her twin brother of Princeton; Tom and Jean Murry.

Mike and Sue arrived June 15 from Cincinnati, where Mike had attended a conference. They visited Sue’s parents’ in Salina, where they also met up with Sue’s two brothers and their families. They left June 16 to return to West Virginia.

Virginia Murphy, Sandra Helm and Addie Helm went to Hulett, Wyo. for the June 1 wedding of Virginia’s great-niece.

The following week they went to New Jersey for the 16th birthday anniversary of her great-granddaughter Jade Butler.

Father’s Day visitors of Tom and Jean Murry were Tim Murry, Jim Murry, Verna Cutright, Michelle and Rosemary and Pat and Jeanne Murry, who visited and also took Tom and Jean out to eat in Leavenworth.

Those visiting Wayne and Mildred Kirby on Father’s Day were Bob and Jeanette Hurrelbrink and Andy and Dana Hurrelbrink.

David and Jane Turner were dinner guests of David and Tracey Turner and Sydney.

Virginia Murphy and Kathy Powers had lunch with Bid Sheppard on Thursday in honor of Kathy’s birthday.

Kathy Stimac and co-workers from the ReMax Action real estate office in Bonner Springs were guests of Wachovia Mortgage Co. at the Kansas City T-Bones baseball game Thursday at CommunityAmerica Ballpark in Kansas City, Kan.
