K-32 wreck kills KCK resident

A Kansas City, Kan., man was killed Monday evening when two pickup trucks collided on Kansas Highway 32 east of Linwood. Another man was injured.

The fatality victim was David M. Armstrong, 35, according to the Kansas Highway Patrol. He died at University of Kansas Hospital in Kansas City.

Also taken to KU Hospital was Adam Crane, 22, of Potter. His condition was not available.

Armstrong was driving a 2005 Chevrolet truck east on K-32 when it was struck by a westbound 2000 Dodge truck driven by Crane, according to a Highway Patrol report.

The Dodge crossed the centerline, the report said.

The accident occurred at 6:45 p.m. a little over a mile east of Linwood.
