The deadline for the contest is April 8. Sunflower State Games staff and the secretary of the Kansas Department of Health and Environment will select the winning entries.

Winners will receive prizes and will invited to read their winning essay July 10 at the Sunflower State Games V.I.P. Reception.

Entries must include a name of student, name of teacher, grade level, school address and phone number. Entries may be faxed to (785) 235-1308 or mailed to the Sunflower State Games office at 820 S. Kansas Ave., Topeka 66612. For more information, call the number listed above.
